Overview
A swift 2-day escape from Marrakech to the Sahara. Cross the High Atlas over Tizi n'Tichka, admire the Draa Valley, and experience a magical sunset camel trek with an overnight in a Berber camp beneath an ocean of stars.
Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → Merzouga (approx. 10–11 h)
07:00 – Departure from Marrakech. Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass with short photo stops. Pass Ouarzazate and the Draa Valley. Lunch en route (Agdz or Nkob area). Continue via Rissani to Merzouga. 17:30–18:00 – Arrival and sunset camel ride. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp among the dunes.
Overnight: Sahara Desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga → Marrakech (approx. 10–11 h)
Sunrise on the dunes and breakfast. Return to the village by camel or 4x4. Drive back to Marrakech along the same route with a lunch stop. Arrival in Marrakech around 20:00–21:00 – end of services.
